カナダ国内外の様々なジャンルのクリエーター達が新橋のWhite Galleryに一同に介します。展覧会タイトルKANATAはカナダの国名の語源で、先住民の言葉で「村」という意味です。それに日本語の「彼方」を掛けて「彼方と彼方を繋ぐ」という想いを込めました
１７日のレセプションでは詩人の高山宙丸氏、画家のYUKI氏、音楽家の江崎とし子氏のパフォーマンスを披露します。皆様お誘い合わせの上ご来場頂ければ光栄です

スタッフの方達がとても気さくで、やっぱ地元っていいな〜って落ち着きます
場所は駅からちょっと遠いのですが、ゆっくりご飯が食べれてアートにも触れて、可愛い雑貨やおしゃれな北欧家具まで買えちゃうこのお店が大好きです

“When I was in LA, I met a photographer who told me my art is a bit retro, a feeling of the past, which led me to the title of my series “reminiscent”. When I was a child, I sometimes ‘spaced out’ and daydreamed, then drew what I thought of…it’s still the same now, so my work seems reminiscent of those early times in my life”

Sleepless Kao an artist-in-motion, and author & illustrator of three children’s books, Monchan’s Bag, Emily and the Mighty Om and Duet for Simply Read Books, premieres her new original paintings, and limited edition prints. The exhibition offers an opportunity to experience the world of nostalgia and kawaii (cuteness)

今回は新年スペシャルバージョンと称して「落書きing」な漫画家でありアーティストの寺田克也さんとゲーム、「ソニック」の生みの親、安原広和さんと東京で飲んだ時のお話です。とはいえ、ただただ飲んで食べていただけなので話の内容はほぼ覚えておらず…ただただ楽しかった笑
